Collapse & Decay

Check out Orca's myspace to hear the recent recordings. The songs clock in at 15 and 19 min respectively. I edited Collapse into two parts and only put excerpts of Decay. Some details still need to be ironed out but hopefully within the next week or so we'll have everything done. We're most likely going to release these songs as a small run of CDr's within the next month to give to friends and have at shows. Please share your thoughts.

THE BEAST MAKES ITS MARK

ORCA just spent a day in the Gorgeous Lair recording two huge songs. All done live off the floor minus the vocals which I will begin properly tomorrow. I was there today tearing up my throat a bit but that was just a warm up. The mixes so far sound much more amazing than I was expecting. Huge gratitude and respect to Scott Sokoloski for his time, effort and endless enthusiasm. I almost can't believe it's actually finally happening. This will mark the end of a very long chapter in the life of this band. There have been numerous days where I've thought about putting this beast to sleep, it's taken it's toll on me and all who have been involved and I hope this will be the catalyst to move it forward into better days.
